Speaker: Natalia Voloshyna, Executive Director of the Association of Manufacturers and Importers of Advertising Souvenirs of Ukraine, trend hunter, contributor, specialist in the field of advertising and marketing communications, business consultant.
Schools, colleges, lyceums, universities, museums, theaters, charities and public organizations, sports events need to raise additional funds for their internal projects: improvement of the territory, technical base. And also - to attract additional attention to themselves, regarding certain events, phenomena, expressions and dissemination of their positions and attitudes.
Quarantine and another crisis have shown how much some activities have become dependent on real contact with people, because the bulk of income (eg, theaters, museums, educational institutions) depends on direct interaction with the audience. Not everyone was ready and able to use the business model to compensate for financial gaps by switching to online formats. But in fact, everyone gained new experience, transformed, and some even reached new levels.
Merch turned out to be one of the tools thanks to which some cultural and educational projects managed not only to stay afloat, but also to reach a new level.
A good tone, a sign of style, a step with modernity today is your own merch in projects that carry something more than just earnings. Merch is not just a product with a logo. It is something that has a certain meaning and carries ideas, philosophy, images in things, continuing in everyday life. Supporting, strengthening, reminding. We see Merch in almost every famous blogger, musician, in some TV projects, TV series, movies, cartoons.
