From 4 to 6 September 2020 on the territory of the International Exhibition Center took place the long-awaited international exhibitions – “Craft. Business & Hobby” and “Modna Lyalka”, organized by the magazine “Fashion handicraft”. The event was attended by 207 exhibitors: companies, shops, studios and workshops, craftsmen, designers and artists.
Traditionally, there was a parade of hinged dolls presented by members of the Ukrainian community BJD.
For the first time in Ukraine, an all-Ukrainian children's art contest “Modna Lyalka, Autumn 2020 Season” was organized and held. It was attended by 71 young masters, who presented 103 competitive works. The winners of the nominations were Kateryna Skoryk, Victoria Masliy and Sofia Khomenko. In addition to the main prizes, many famous Ukrainian puppet artists and masters – Olena Popova, Olga Chernyshova, Lyudmila Naumenko, Olga Khmil, Lesya Korol, Yanina Kovgan, Irina Kapitanenko, Tetyana Dvorchuk, Tetyana Kozak and Svitlana Strynadkina – donated their most personal works.
The finals of traditional competitions were also held. The winner of the contest of author's works “Fashionable Doll, autumn 2020 season” in the nomination “Interior Doll” according to the independent jury was Irina Litvinova with the work “Eliza”.
The organizers separately awarded the prize “Season Opening” to Anna Trokhimenko with the work “Maya and the Bumblebee” for an innovative approach to working with materials and special techniques.
The winner of the contest of author's works “My favorite bear” in the nomination “Traditional bear” according to the independent jury was Elena Makeenkova with the work “Alpin polar bear”.
There was also a contest “The best stand of the exhibition”, the winner of which was Diana Obschanska, “Fityulkin House” – a regular participant in the exhibition for many years and the author of funny miniature dolls, the number of which for this autumn event exceeded 1000 units!
Traditionally, the exhibitions focused on charity with the help of representatives and projects of the Charitable Organization Childhood Cancer Foundation “Crab”, orphanage “Pearl” and animal shelter “Bows”.
Next XXIV International Exhibition “Craft. Business & Hobby” and the XXII International Show of Author's Doll and Teddy “Modna Lyalka” will take place in early April 2021 at the International Exhibition Center.

As part of the show “Modna Lyalka”, guests could visit the thematic areas “Author’s Doll”, “Art Doll”, “Teddy Bears and Friends”, “Reborn Dolls” and “Blythe & Co”.
The central part of the exhibition was represented by a spacious open area “Art Doll” with thematic author's art projects: the author’s project “On feelings, love, dreams...” Irina Zhmurenko and Anastasia Tsyupko; collective project “That’s what she invents!” Victoria Kukalo, Maria Bondarenko and Natalia Loilenko, as well as a project by Anastasia Katsan.
