We invite you to take part in the children's art contest "Modna lyalka". The theme of the new competition is "World of Tales of the Brothers Grimm".

Competition nominations

1. Nomination "Interior Doll". Necessary material for making dolls – cold porcelain, baking plastic, self-hardening plastic, papier-mâché, silicone.

2. Nomination "Textile Doll". Necessary material for making dolls – textiles.

3. Nomination "Teddy Bears and their friends". Necessary material – mohair, plush with different pile, natural fur.

Young masters aged 9-16 can take part in the competition.

The works of the participants of the competition of children's art "Modna lyalka" will be exhibited in a separate exhibition in the exhibition hall of the pavilion during the XXIV International Exhibition of Author's Dolls and Teddy "Modna lyalka" (Kyiv, IEC, Brovarsky Ave., 15).

Requirements for exhibits

For all nominations, the only evaluation criteria are compliance with the chosen theme of the competition, the material and technique used in the nomination, the quality of performance and completeness of the image.

If the young master uses ideas and designs of famous images, indicate in the application the source of inspiration and the name of the author, as well as the title of the work.

The work that was previously exhibited, participated in other competitions, exhibitions, etc., is not accepted for the competition.

The work must be done independently.

Objectives of the competition

To support talented young masters and provide an opportunity to demonstrate their work to a wide audience.

Contest prizes

If there are less than 5 (five) works and participants in the nomination, the prize will not be awarded. An independent jury will be set up to evaluate and select the winner of each nomination.

In each nomination there is only one winner, for whom a prize will be awarded by the organizer of the exhibition.

All participants will be awarded diplomas.

Registration fee

The cost of registration of 1 participant in the competition – 100 UAH.

The invoice for payment is issued to the name of the father of the participant or the head of the circle (according to the number of participants).

Payment no later than one week before the event.

Terms of participation and submission of applications

Each participant can submit no more than 3 (three) works in different nominations of their choice.

Each work should have a reference to the tale of the Brothers Grimm, which created the image.

Techniques and materials are not limited, except in those specified in certain nominations.

Applications for participation in the competition must be submitted no later than one week before the event by e-mail konkursexpo@ukr.net, in the subject of the letter indicate "Author's information, children's competition ML". Application, photos of works must be attached to separate files.

During the exhibition (on the day of installation or on any other day) new works are not taken part.

Requirements for filling out applications and submitting works

The application must contain the following information:

  • Name of the participant.
  • Age of the participant.
  • City of residence
  • Father's name, phone (if the application is not submitted by the circle),
  • Phone / Viber,
  • E-mail,
  • Name of the head, name of the circle, institution (if the application is submitted by a child who is involved in the circle), phone / Viber, e-mail mail of the head,
  • Nomination, title of the work.
  • The name of the tale of the Brothers Grimm.

The image should be clear, the background light, monotonous, solid (preferably white, light gray).

If the conditions for submitting applications and photos of works are not met, the work does not participate in the competition!

Delivery of works

The works for the competition must be delivered and taken out by the representative of the participant of the competition independently.

Installation – on the eve of the exhibition from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Dismantling – on the last day of the exhibition from 5:00 pm to 16:00 pm.

For non-resident participants of the competition it is possible to send works by Nova Poshta to the organizer not later than one week before the event by prior agreement. All postage for sending to the competition and return is borne by the participant.

The organizer reserves the right to make additions to the rules of participation in this competition.
